Many parts of the world are responding to the crisis in Ukraine and offering assistance.

RIPS allows:

• The registration of clients with Ukrainian nationality
• The management of visa applications and shelter for Ukrainians
• The recording of all activities and actions undertaken to provide assistance
• The recording of sponsors and disbursements, so that they can be reimbursed allowable expenses
• The payment of disbursements to sponsors and service providers.

Case Study: The US Marines

‘We had to have a robust system which could be implemented quickly, which would allow us to register Ukrainians on the Polish border and fly them to the USA. Information collected must satisfy USA security standards and allow the provision of a visa and housing allocation on landing’

RIPS was modified and delivered as per the requirements of the US Marines, which included:

• Registration of refugees
• A catalogue of all transports
• Allocation of refugees to transports
• Security checks to verify credentials of each refugee together with details of authorising marines
• Allocation of refugees to housing service providers
• Production of information required for immediate issuing of a visa upon landing in the USA.
